Our Practice
Delphos Animal Hospital first opened in 1987 and has undergone plenty of updates over the years. The clinic now has an addition on to the back of the building to provide more space and exam rooms. It has been owned by Vetcor for several years but is still handled very much like a privately owned business. Having Vetcor support us, provides safety policies in the practice and improved benefits for staff.
It also allows the freedom for staff to take time off from work, and allows veterinarians to make their own decisions rather than being confined by strict protocols. One of the great qualities about veterinary medicine is the freedom to offer a variety of care not dictated by policies or insurance companies.
As of 2025, our interior has upgraded its look, and there’s more to come! With fresh colors that are inviting and relaxing for pets, frequent raffles, and product displays, we are working to make our clinic more welcoming and comforting for both you and your pet!

Does your pet hate going to the doctor?! It’s okay! We understand! Most of us don’t enjoy going to our doctor’s appointments either. Vet-visit anxiety is at an all time high right now. Plenty of pets come in nervous, or anxious or sometimes get aggressive with the unknown or anticipation of a vet visit. Dr. Dulle is great at providing calming medications for you to give at home where your pet is the most comfortable, and then their visit in the clinic is as anxiety-free as possible. Once you arrive, the appointment generally proceeds smoothly. If additional medications are needed, we stop, reassess and try again another day. We do not want to induce unneeded stress for them (or you!) and we strive to give them a comfortable and safe environment.
Dr. Dulle frequently says she has three goals.
1. No one gets bit today and no one goes to the ER.
2. Your pet is as comfortable and calm as possible.
3. The owner is also comfortable and doesn’t dread bringing their pet here.
We love to use treats to reward good and curious behavior, moving slowly and finding what works best for the most efficient and comfortable experiences for you and your pet. Depending on how your pet responds, some exams or procedures may be done with or without you present. We are trained to look for cues that your pet may be uncomfortable, including whale eye, staring, growling, barking, hiding, tail wagging, yawning, cowering etc.
When any of these are noted, we often place a muzzle to prevent any injuries to staff and/or owners. Not all pets are aggressive but we use muzzles as a precaution to keep us all safe. Muzzling a dog or cat does not mean your pet is mean, it means we want to continue to do our job safely. Safety is our number one concern, for everyone involved. Always.
